SAY HEY TO THE CREW

JAMES WERNER
Artist/Owner
James is originally from South Florida, and has been working in the body modification industry since 2017. His piercing career began that year, and tattooing followed in 2018.
Since then, he worked his way up the east coast of Florida where he refined and improved his craft, before deciding to move to Maine in June of 2022. His work is constantly evolving, and he loves a good challenge. He enjoys designing custom pieces for his clients and bringing their ideas to life, especially in American Traditional, Blackwork, and Soft Black & Grey styles.
KALEY MERRILL
Artist/Owner
When Kaley began her tattoo career in 2015, her main goal was to find a career in which she could be creative, expressive, and authentic. Over the next few years she learned from artists in 3 different shops, but never felt that she truly had an artistic home. In 2022, she and her fiancé James decided it was time to create that atmosphere they truly desired, thus, Shipwreck Tattoo emerged.
Kaley has experience in most styles of tattooing, but definitely shows a favor towards bold lines, vibrant colors, and heavy saturation. She loves doing Traditional, Blackwork, and Cartoon style pieces, and is always excited for something different and unique, so give her a shout and chat about your ideas!

JAILLE HAYES
Artist
Jaille is a local artist who has had a passion for the tattoo industry since she was young. Having a sister who worked as a tattooer inspired her passion, so when the opportunity presented itself, it was an exciting and terrifying leap.
Starting in 2020, Jaille started her apprenticeship at Tom's Terrific Tattoos. Learning from both Jaime Parent and Tom himself, she absorbed as much as she could and began her journey.
Her tattooing styles range from fine linework and handwriting to bold and realistic in bright color.
