JAMES WERNER

Artist/Owner

James is originally from South Florida, and has been working in the body modification industry since 2017. His piercing career began that year, and tattooing followed in 2018.Since then, he worked his way up the east coast of Florida where he refined and improved his craft, before deciding to move to Maine in June of 2022. His work is constantly evolving, and he loves a good challenge. He enjoys designing custom pieces for his clients and bringing their ideas to life, especially in American Traditional, Blackwork, and Soft Black & Grey styles. 

KALEY MERRILL

Artist/Owner

After entering the tattoo industry in 2015 and beginning her tattoo career in 2019, Kaley developed a passion for creating bold, eye-catching tattoos that combine strong fundamentals with individual expression. She especially enjoys Traditional tattooing, Blackwork, illustrative styles, and anything featuring bold, vibrant color. While those are her favorite projects, she welcomes a wide range of tattoo styles and loves collaborating with clients to create artwork that is uniquely their own.

 

As co-owner of Shipwreck Tattoo, Kaley takes pride in helping create a welcoming environment where clients can feel comfortable, heard, and excited about their tattoo experience. She loves collaborating on unique ideas and welcomes everything from deeply personal designs to fun, absurd, and wonderfully weird tattoo concepts.

CAROLINE TRACEY

Apprentice

Art has always been a huge part of Caroline’s life, making tattooing a natural next step in her creative journey. As an apprentice, she is dedicated to learning the craft, creating custom designs, and providing a welcoming experience for every client. She loves collaborating on unique ideas and looks forward to helping bring your vision to life.
